OSFM Participates in 2019 Polar Bear Plunge

A small but very fearless bunch of Deputy State State Fire Marshals were proud to join Gov. Larry Hogan & Colonel Pallozzi today at Sandy Point State Park. The team, led by Chief Deputy Der & Deputy Chief Flanagan took a dip for an excellent cause into the chilly Chesapeake Bay. The OSFM Team raised over $3,800 dollars for Special Olympics Maryland. A huge shout out to DSFM Childress of our Upper Eastern Regional Office for spearheading and organizing this year's Team Plunge.
